Cigna Announces Joint Effort to Sell Health Insurance In India
Cigna Corp., further boosting its overseas expansion strategy, announced a joint venture Tuesday with an Indian consumer goods firm, TTK Group, to sell health insurance across India. The insurance will be sold under the name Cigna TTK, which will be headquartered in Mumbai. Cigna's Sandeep Patel, who is managing director of the subsidiary Cigna Health Solutions India, will be CEO of Cigna TTK.
